In a plot twist fit for a tech soap opera, Apple is playing dodgeball with Trump-era tariffs as it looks to shift some of its iPhone production from the land of the Great Wall to the land of curry—India! 😲🍛

With tariffs on goods from China reaching stratospheric heights (26% to be exact), Apple has decided that safety in numbers—err, production—is the best strategy. While they plan to crank out a whopping 25 million iPhones in India this year (10 million of which are for local fans), they might redirect some of those shiny gadgets across the ocean to the US.

But, hold your horses! 🐎 The Wall Street Journal reports Apple isn’t ready to go into full-on production panic mode just yet. They’re calling it “too uncertain” to just scrap their existing manufacturing plans.

So, what’s next in this tariff tango? Are we about to see more Made in India stickers on our iPhones or is this just a temporary patch on a much larger global supply chain puzzle? Beyond the numbers, this is more than just business—as we all know, when tariffs hit Big Tech, they trickle down to our pockets too.

Needless to say, keep your ears perked. The tech drama is just heating up! 🔥 Are you on team iPhone or team tariffs?
